Pune: Synergy Conference Held at Army’s Southern Command Headquarters to Strengthen Defence Finance Coordination
Pune, 4th November 2025: A Synergy Conference was held at the Headquarters Southern Command in Pune on Tuesday, bringing together key stakeholders including the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command), the Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), and senior officials from various formation headquarters.
The conference focused on multiple aspects of defence finance and resource management, aiming to enhance coordination and promote greater synergy through policy alignment. Deliberations highlighted the need for seamless collaboration between operational and financial domains to strengthen mission preparedness and troop welfare.
Senior officers from the Defence Accounts Department, the IFA, and various formation headquarters attended the event.
M. S. Saravanan, IDAS, Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA), Southern Command (Army), served as the nodal officer and coordinated the conference in close collaboration with HQ Southern Command and the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command).
Participants appreciated the initiative for fostering a spirit of cooperation, transparency, and efficiency in financial management. The event reinforced the shared commitment of all stakeholders towards enhancing operational readiness and ensuring the welfare of the armed forces.
