Lonavala: Heavy Traffic Jam on Pune-Mumbai Expressway in Khandala Ghat

Lonavala, 15th November 2025: A heavy traffic jam on the Pune–Mumbai Expressway in the Khandala Ghat section has left vehicles stranded for over an hour on Saturday, around 11 am.

Long queues formed as the flow of vehicles slowed to a crawl, causing delays for commuters heading towards Mumbai. Highway police and traffic management teams were deployed to regulate movement and ease congestion.

Efforts were underway to clear the backlog and restore normal traffic flow.
