Pune: Seven-Year-Old Dies in Balewadi Hit-and-Run, Police Hunt Absconding Driver
Balewadi, 20th November 2025: Pune witnessed two tragic road accidents in quick succession, claiming the life of a seven-year-old boy in Balewadi.
The incident resulted in the death of seven-year-old Anurag Chandmare. His five-year-old brother, Abhinav Chandmare, and grandfather, Bandu Wawalkar, sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment.
The tempo driver involved in the accident fled the scene, and Bavdhan police registered a case late Wednesday night. Authorities are actively searching for the absconding driver.
