Pune: Local boy Bhansali upset seeds in qualifiers at Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Grade 3 Junior Tennis Championship

Pune, 29 November 2025: Local boy Saksham Bhansali used home city advantage to dismiss seeds and move into the final qualifying round at the Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Junior Grade 3 Junior tennis Championships organized by Deccan Gymkhana Under the auspices of ITF, Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association to be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

Unseeded Saksham Bhansali ousted fourth seeded Ishan Sivakumar 6-3, 6-3, while Namit Bhatia edged out sixth seeded Atharva Shriramoju 6-7(4), 6-1, 14-12 to enter second round of the qualifying. In close matches Avyakta Rayavarapu struggled before overcoming second seeded Dia Agarwal 6-3, 1-6, 10-5, while Navya Sharma carved out a win over seventh seeded Aarohi Deshmukh 6-3, 6-4 to move into second round.
