Pune: Over 120 Train Services Affected: Railway Issues Revised Block Plan for Daund–Kashti Doubling Work from 4–25 January 2026
Pune, 2nd December 2025: Pune Division has released a revised schedule of Special Traffic and Power Blocks for the commissioning of the doubling work between Daund and Kashti on the Daund–Manmad section. The blocks will be implemented in two phases: Pre-Non Interlocking (Pre-NI) from 4 to 23 January 2026 and Non-Interlocking (NI) on 24–25 January 2026. The revised operational plan will impact more than 120 train services, including cancellations, diversions, short terminations, rescheduling, and en-route regulations.
Cancellations
Daily cancellations between 15 and 25 January 2026 include:
12169/12170 Pune–Solapur Express
12157/12158 Pune–Solapur Express
11418/11417 Solapur–Pune DEMU (cancelled only on 24 & 25 January; will run 15–23 January)
Multiple Pune–Daund–Baramati DEMUs (71401, 71402, 71407, 71408, 71405, 71409, 71410)
Additional cancellations on 23, 24, and 25 January include long-distance trains such as: 11025/11026 Amravati Express, 12119/12120 Ajni Express, 12113/12114 Garib Rath, 17629/17630 Nanded Express, 22139/22140 Humsafar, 12135/12136 Nagpur Express, 17613/17614 Nanded–Panvel Express, 01487/01488 Harangul Special, 11041/11042 Sainagar Shirdi–Dadar Express, and DEMU/Passenger services on multiple Baramati, Daund, and Solapur routes.
Diversions
Several trains will run via alternate routes on 23–24 January, including:
22685 Yesvantpur–Chandigarh Express (via Manmad–Igatpuri–Kalyan–Panvel–Pune)
11028 Satara–Dadar Express (via Jejuri–Pune)
16332 Thiruvananthapuram–CSMT and 11302 Bengaluru–CSMT (via Kurduvadi–Miraj–Pune)
20657 Hubballi–Nizamuddin, 11078 Jammutawi–Pune, 12780 Nizamuddin–Vasco, 15030 Pune–Gorakhpur via alternate alignments
Short Termination and Origination at Khadki
Due to operational constraints, the following trains will be handled at Khadki station instead of Daund:
22944 Indore–Daund Express (short terminated on 23 & 24 January)
22194 Gwalior–Daund Express (short terminated on 24 January)
22943 Daund–Indore Express (short originates on 24 & 25 January)
22193 Daund–Gwalior Express (short originates on 25 January)
Rescheduling
Major rescheduling includes:
18520 LTT–Visakhapatnam (by 2 hrs on 15–25 Jan)
11301 CSMT–KSR Bengaluru (by 1 hr on 15–23 Jan; by 4 hrs on 25 Jan)
11025 Pune–Amravati (1.5 hrs on multiple dates; 2 hrs 15 mins on 6 Jan)
22845 Pune–Hatia (1.5–4 hrs depending on date)
Several Pune-originating long-distance trains rescheduled between 1–5 hrs
Regulation
Trains to be regulated en-route include: 11078 Jammutawi–Pune, 12780 Nizamuddin–Vasco, 20658 Nizamuddin–Hubballi, 11406 Amravati–Pune, 12781 Mysuru–Nizamuddin, 12628 New Delhi–Bengaluru, 26102 Ajni–Pune Vande Bharat, and 11410 Nizamabad–Pune.
Passengers have been advised to check updated train timings and plan travel accordingly during the Pre-NI and NI period.
