Pune: PRC Khadki Celebrates World Disability Day 2025 with Inspiring Cultural Programmes
Range Hills, 3rd December 2025: The Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Kirkee, in collaboration with Queen Mary’s Technical Institute (QMTI), Army ASHA School, Military Hospital (MH) Kirkee and Artificial Limb Centre (ALC) Pune, celebrated World Disability Day 2025 as Inspirational Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The event was presided over by Brig Tarunesh, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Headquarters Dakshin Maharashtra & Goa Sub Area. Col Deepak Thinge (Retd), Director, Rajya Sainik Board, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Senior veterans from Southern Command and DM&G Sub Area were also present.
World Disability Day serves as a reminder of the exceptional courage displayed by our disabled soldiers and veterans who continue to inspire the nation with their resilience, dedication and unbreakable spirit.

Residents of PRC, students of QMTI, children of Army ASHA School and patients from MH Kirkee and ALC presented a series of stirring cultural programmes showcasing their talent, determination and artistic abilities. Their performances received heartfelt appreciation from the audience.
The Chief Guest interacted warmly with all residents, patients, families, staff and children, acknowledging their grit and positive spirit. He also presented gifts to the participants and appreciated the commendable efforts of all institutions involved.
