National Lok Adalat in Pune on December 13 for Speedy Settlement of Cases

Pune, 9th December 2025: A National Lok Adalat will be held across Pune district on December 13, 2025, to resolve pending and pre-litigation cases through mediation with the mutual consent of both parties. Mahendra Mahajan, Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority and Principal District and Sessions Judge, has urged citizens, litigants, and lawyers to participate actively and settle eligible cases amicably.

Lok Adalats have emerged as an effective platform for speedy and satisfactory dispute resolution, reducing the burden on courts while fostering mutual understanding between parties. The upcoming Lok Adalat will be organized at the district court and across all taluka courts in Pune.

“Both parties get an opportunity to present their side and reach a mutually acceptable settlement, ensuring quicker outcomes without prolonged litigation,” said Revati Deshpande, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority. She encouraged citizens to make maximum use of the mediation route.
