Pune Cricket Cup Under-13 Boys’ Inter-Club One-Day Cricket Tournament

Pune, 19th December 2025: Cricket Next Academy team easily defeated the Pune Institute of Cricket team by 9 wickets to clinch the championship in the ‘Pune Cricket Cup’ Under-13 boys’ inter-club one-day cricket tournament organized by Pune Cricket Academy and Sagar Kamble.

In the final match of the tournament, held at the Brilliant Sports Academy ground in Yewalewadi, the CNA team secured the victory thanks to an unbeaten 104 runs scored by Vivan Deshmukh. Batting first, the Pune Institute of Cricket team set a target of 156 runs in 36.1 overs. Samarthraj Ghule (29 runs), Vishwajeet Shinde (23 runs), and Rajveer Raut (24 runs) contributed to the team’s innings. While bowling, Hridaan Rathi, Avdait Ippe, and Shreethik Bairisetti of CNA took two wickets each. Cricket Next Academy chased down the target in 18.1 overs, losing only one wicket. Vivan Deshmukh played a crucial role in this victory, scoring an unbeaten 104 runs off 59 balls, including 17 fours and 4 sixes. On the other end, Samarth Ingle scored an unbeaten 39 runs. These two forged an unbroken 143-run partnership off 93 balls for the third wicket, securing the team’s victory.

The awards ceremony was conducted by Sagar Kamble, Director of Pune Cricket Academy. The winning team, CNA, and the runner-up team, PIOC, were presented with trophies and medals. Final Match Summary:
