Pune Police Bust Prostitution Rackets at Spa in Koregaon Park, Lodge in Fursungi

Pune, 29th December 2025: Pune City police have carried out coordinated raids at a massage parlour in Koregaon Park and a lodge in Fursungi, uncovering alleged prostitution activities at both locations and arresting several persons in connection with the cases.

In the first incident, Koregaon Park police took action against ‘Silver Soul Spa’, located in the upscale Koregaon Park locality, following credible information that the premises were being used for prostitution. To confirm the inputs, police sent a decoy customer to the spa. After the information was verified, a police team conducted a raid and detained women found at the establishment.

The spa’s manager, Faizal Ajihoor Rehman Ahmed, also known as Sameer (38), a resident of Keshavnagar, Mundhwa, was arrested. A case was registered at the Koregaon Park Police Station based on a complaint filed by Police Sub-Inspector Ashwini Wanve. The action was carried out under the supervision of ACP Sangeeta Alphonso-Shinde, while Senior Police Inspector Doke has taken charge of further investigation.

In a separate operation, Fursungi police raided ‘Crystal Lodge’ situated on the Katraj–Mantarwadi bypass road after receiving a tip-off about prostitution being run from the premises. During the raid, women allegedly being exploited for the purpose of prostitution were found and detained.

Police have booked Ajay Mhaske, Akshay, Sudhakar, Pawan Sonparkhe, and a woman identified as Binda for allegedly luring and coercing women into prostitution. The case was registered at the Fursungi Police Station following a complaint by Police Sub-Inspector Tehseen Beg. The raid was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police Anuradha Udmale and Senior Police Inspector Rajesh More, with Crime Branch Inspector Rajesh Khande leading the investigation.
