PMC Elections 2025: BJP Candidate Raghavendra ‘Bappu’ Mankar Promises 24×7 Citizen Service in Ward 25-B
Pune, 3rd January 2026: BJP’s official candidate from Ward 25-B, Raghavendra ‘Bappu’ Mankar, today said he would remain available round the clock to address civic issues and serve residents of the ward, positioning himself as a “member of every family and a friend to the people.”
Speaking at a meeting of party office-bearers and workers, Mankar said the ‘24 Hours Janseva’ office run by his team has been working day and night to resolve citizens’ problems. “Under the guidance of MLA Hemant Rasane, I will personally stay committed to serving residents of the ward 24×7,” he said.
Addressing party workers, MLA Rasane urged them to reach out to voters with details of development works carried out by the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Maharashtra. He called for disciplined organisational efforts to secure what he described as one of the biggest victories in Maharashtra from Ward 25. Rasane highlighted the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, asking workers to communicate the impact of government welfare schemes at the grassroots level.

The meeting was organised as part of the BJP’s campaign for the Pune Municipal Corporation elections and focused on micro-level election planning. Discussions were held on booth-level strategy and methods to effectively convey information about development projects and public welfare initiatives to voters.
Several senior party leaders and functionaries were present at the meeting, including ward candidates Swarada Bapat, Kunal Tilak and Swapnali Pandit; former corporators Dilip Kalokhe and Gayatri Khadke; and office-bearers Rajesh Yenpure, Uday Lele, Amit Kank, Manoj Khatri, Nilesh Kadam, Kiran Jagdale, Santosh Fadtare, Pranav Ganjivale, Mohana Gadre, Rupali Kadam, Sunil Rasal and Shreyas Lele.
