PMC Elections 2026: BJP Candidate Kunal Tilak Conducts Door-to-Door Outreach on Laxmi Road
Shaniwar Peth, 7th January 2026: Continuing his outreach ahead of the municipal elections, BJP’s official candidate from Ward 25-D, Kunal Shailesh Tilak, conducted a door-to-door campaign along Laxmi Road, interacting with residents and local traders in one of Pune’s busiest commercial areas.
During the visit, Tilak met shopkeepers, workers and residents, and listened to their concerns related to traffic congestion, pedestrian movement, cleanliness and basic civic amenities. Several traders raised issues regarding crowd management and the strain on infrastructure due to heavy footfall in the area.
Tilak took note of the feedback and said that sustained engagement with citizens was essential to effectively address area-specific civic challenges. He observed that commercial hubs such as Laxmi Road require coordinated planning and continuous dialogue with stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning.
