Pune, 10th January 2026: The ‘Solaris Cup’ Senior Men’s National Tennis Tournament 2026 is being organized for the 12 th consecutive year Solaris Club, Mayur Colony, Pune between January 16 to 23, 2026. Legendary senior players including national champions of their time and coaches from various states across the country will be seen in action !

This grand tournament is being organized in association with Global Senior Tennis Association (GSTA) and Ravindra Pandya Tennis Academy (RPTA). Prize money is Rs. 6.25 lac. 300 participants are expected.

Solaris Director Mr. Jayant Pawar and CEO Mr. Hrishikesh Bhanushali and the entire Solaris team is honored to host this prestigious tournament where many former national champions as well as tennis lovers from across the country have confirmed their participation.

The tournament will be held in six categories: 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, 70+, and 75+. It will include both singles and doubles matches. The tournament is being organized under the auspices of the GSTA organization, and young players in Pune witness many super enthusiastic players in action !

Around 300 players from Visakhapatnam, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa look fears for this yearly event. Solaris Club will provide free hospitality to all players, including healthy meals, snacks, and access to the all the club facilities throughout the event.

Former international and national top-ranked players, including Nitin Kirtane from Pune, as well as coaches Ravindra Pandya, Ketan Dhumal, Mandar Wakankar, Ajay Kamat, Abhishek Tamhane, Sandeep Kirtane, Jayant Kadhe, Neelkanth Dabare, and Shrikant Parekh from Nashik, Ajay Lakhotia from Gujarat, and Kishore Sabnani, Neeraj Anand, and Bhushan Akut from Mumbai, will be competing in the tournament.

The winners of the competition will receive trophies, points, and cash prizes. In the singles category, the winner will receive 120 points, the runner-up 85 points, semi-finalists 55 points, quarter-finalists 35 points, and pre-quarter-finalists 20 points. Players in the first round will receive 10 points. In the doubles category, the winning pair will receive 85 points, the runner-up pair 55 points, semi-finalist pairs 35 points, quarter-finalist pairs 20 points, and pre-quarter-finalist pairs 10 points.

Last year in the singles category of the competition, Neeraj Anand from Mumbai (35+ age group), Nitin Kirtane from Pune (45+ age group), Ajay Kamat (55+ age group), V. Shankar (65+ age group), and Kishore Sabnani (70+ age group) won the titles.

Registration will be held on January 16th (10 AM to 12 PM) for singles and on January 18th (10 AM to 12 PM) for doubles. The tournament will begin on January 17th with the qualifying rounds.
