Kondhwa, 12th January 2026: Highlighting the urgent need for structured growth and civic discipline, Satpal Ramchandra Parge has unveiled his comprehensive development roadmap for Ward No. 19 (Kondhwa Khurd- Kausarbaug).

As a contender for the position of Corporator, Parge’s vision centers on resolving long-standing civic issues ranging from women’s safety to infrastructure management.

Emphasizing that urban expansion must not come at the cost of livability, Parge stated, “Urban development must go hand in hand with safety, discipline, and quality civic infrastructure. My vision is to focus on structured development that improves daily life while ensuring long-term sustainability.”

Safety and Law & Order
A significant portion of the vision document is dedicated to public safety and restoring order. Parge highlighted the growing menace of organized begging at traffic signals and the rise of unauthorized commercial establishments, which have contributed to noise pollution and late-night disturbances.

“Strict monitoring, regular inspections, and firm action against violations will be prioritized to restore discipline and public confidence,” Parge affirmed regarding the regulation of unauthorized hotels and businesses.

Addressing women’s safety, he identified poor lighting and isolated stretches as key contributors to fear among residents. He promised to implement improved street lighting, CCTV coverage, and better coordination with police patrols to mitigate late-night vandalism.

Infrastructure and Civic Amenities
The roadmap outlines specific plans to tackle the ward’s deteriorating infrastructure, including power cuts caused by illegal connections and the poor condition of underground pipelines which leads to waterlogging.

Parge promised a scientific approach to these issues, stating, “A detailed survey will be undertaken to ensure proper drainage lines are laid, and old or damaged pipelines will be replaced wherever required to prevent recurring problems.”

Additionally, he proposed exploring solar energy solutions for residential areas to ensure a more reliable power supply.

Support for Local Businesses
Acknowledging the struggles of small businesses regarding commercial taxation, Parge vowed to end administrative harassment. “My focus will be on creating a transparent system where traders receive proper guidance, grievances are resolved quickly, and unnecessary pressure is eliminated,” he said.

Traffic and Mobility
To address traffic congestion, Parge called for scientific traffic planning and the completion of unfinished footpaths to ensure pedestrian safety. He noted that removing illegal encroachments and implementing clear parking management plans are essential steps to prevent the ward’s decline.

Concluding his vision for Ward No. 19, Parge summarized his goal for the constituency: “The objective is clear — responsive governance, accountable development, and a ward where citizens feel safe, heard, and confident about the future.”
