Viman Nagar, 27th January 2026: Pune Airport has secured the first position in the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey for both Q3 (July–September) and Q4 (October–December) of 2025, achieving an outstanding passenger satisfaction score of 4.96 out of 5. The ranking places Pune Airport among the top-performing airports globally in terms of service quality and passenger experience.

The ACI ASQ Survey is one of the world’s most trusted benchmarks for measuring airport service standards based on direct feedback from passengers. Pune Airport’s top ranking reflects consistently high ratings across key parameters such as cleanliness, security, staff behaviour, check-in experience, and overall comfort.

Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke credited the achievement to teamwork and a strong focus on passenger-centric operations. “This top ranking in the ACI ASQ Survey for both Q3 and Q4 of 2025 is a proud moment for all of us at Pune Airport. A score of 4.96 out of 5 shows that our efforts to improve facilities, streamline processes and enhance the overall passenger experience are being recognised. This success belongs to every member of our frontline and support teams who work round the clock to serve passengers better,” Dhoke said.

He also acknowledged the role of policy support and leadership in driving improvements at the airport. According to airport officials, the consistent performance is the result of coordinated efforts by all stakeholders, including airlines, security agencies, ground handling staff, and airport management.

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol said the ranking reflects the government’s commitment to world-class aviation services. “Pune Airport’s No.1 ranking in the ACI ASQ Survey for Q3 and Q4 with an exceptional 4.96 out of 5 score reflects our commitment to delivering world-class passenger service,” Mohol said.

Officials said Pune Airport will continue to focus on upgrading infrastructure, adopting technology-driven solutions, and improving customer service to maintain high standards in the coming quarters. With rising passenger traffic and expanding connectivity, the airport aims to further strengthen its position as one of India’s leading aviation hubs in terms of service quality and passenger satisfaction.
