Pune: Corporator Apoorva Khade Inspects PMC Schools in Ward 12, Orders Action on Infrastructure Issues
Pune, 11th February 2026: Ward No. 12 Corporator Apoorva Khade on Tuesday visited several Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) schools in his ward to review infrastructure and interact with students, teachers and staff.
The visit covered Pu. Ga. Vaidya E-Learning School, Sant Ramdas Swami Primary School, Tanaji Palkar School, Hutatma Balvir Shirish Kumar Secondary School and Lal Bahadur Shastri Primary School. During the inspections, Khade assessed classroom conditions, sanitation facilities, maintenance issues and the availability of digital learning resources.
Teachers and administrative staff raised concerns related to basic amenities and the upkeep of school premises. Khade directed officials from the concerned departments to take note of urgent requirements and ensure time-bound action on pending issues.
Speaking to staff during the visit, Khade said that PMC schools play a key role in shaping students’ futures and that improving infrastructure and the learning environment should remain a priority.
According to officials, follow-up reports on the issues identified will be submitted to the ward office. Khade also stated that education and civic development would continue to be among the main focus areas in Ward 12.
