Pune, 17th February 2026: In alignment with Pune’s Clean & Green mission, Rohan Builders organised “My Society, My Valentine,” an inter-society initiative recognising excellence in sustainability, safety, and community governance across its handed-over residential projects.

The grand finale was hosted at Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel on Valentine’s Day, symbolising collective pride and responsible community stewardship.

The event was graced by Pune Municipal Commissioner Shri Naval Kishore Ram, IAS, who appreciated the initiative as a progressive step towards building a cleaner and greener Pune with the collective support of all Rohan societies. He remarked that if every citizen and housing society begins taking small yet meaningful steps, together Pune can truly become a Clean & Green city. He further highlighted that the competition criteria — covering sustainability initiatives, solar energy adoption, waste management systems, cleanliness standards, security measures, innovation, and best governance practices — reflect the essential pillars of responsible urban living.

The ceremony was also graced by distinguished guests including Smt. Maneesha Koshti, Secretary, Pune District Co-operative Housing Federation, and Smt.
Mrudgandha Joshi, Director, Pune District Co-operative Housing Federation.

The entire evaluation process was conducted by a distinguished jury panel comprising architects with over 30 years of professional practice, ensuring a comprehensive, unbiased, and technically sound assessment of each participating society’s initiatives and governance standards.

Society of the Year was awarded to Rohan Mithila – 1, followed by Rohan Nilay and Rohan Garima. Special Initiative Awards were presented to Rohan Tarang, Rohan Kritika, and Rohan Abhilasha, while several other societies were recognised under the Rising Star category.

The initiative was conducted in the presence of the leadership team of Rohan Builders — Shri Sanjay Lunkad, Abhishek Bhatewara, and Ashwin Lunkad — reinforcing the organisation’s conviction that true development goes beyond construction and evolves into long-term community stewardship.

Speaking on the occasion, Pooja Bhagwat, GM – Sales & Marketing, Rohan Builders, said, “At Rohan, we believe that our responsibility does not end with the handover of homes. We actively guide and support our societies to function efficiently, innovate, and sustain responsible practices over time. This continued engagement helps us build strong, lasting relationships within our communities. Through this initiative, we celebrate societies that set inspiring benchmarks for conscious and collective urban living.”
