Pune: Grand Celebrations at Shivsrushti Mark Shivjayanti with Civic Felicitations

Pune, 19th February 2026: The newly elected mayor of Pune Manjusha Nagpure expressed the opinion that it is necessary to continue the work of conveying the thoughts and values given by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the new generation without interruption. Shivjayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at the Shivsrushti being created by Maharaja Shiv Chhatrapati Pratishthan at Ambegaon Budruk, Nagpure was speaking at a program organized on this occasion.

Newly elected corporators of Ambegaon area, corporators Haridas Charwad, Komal Navale, Jayshree Bhumkar, Lahu Laigude, Arun Rajwade, Sandeep Beldar, Pratibha Chorge, Vyankaji Khopde, Smita Kondhare, Seema Beldare were felicitated at the hands of Nagpure at Shivsrushti today. Trustees of Shivsrushti Amrut Purandare, Vineet Kuber, Manoj Pochat, Chief Administrative Officer Anil Pawar, were present on this occasion.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who dedicated his life to the welfare of the people, has given us a lot. In this, his thoughts and values are very important. We have to work t continuously to convey the thoughts and values given by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to the new generation. Especially, every generation coming in the future has to continue this work, Nagpure said on this occasion.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s management philosophy was excellent. It is a good thing that the children who are studying in the current generation are studying it closely. They will definitely benefit from it, Nagpure mentioned.

Every time when I come to the Shivsrushti, I feel like I have come to a temple. Here I get a different energy, not only that, but I also get the energy to express our thoughts strongly, so Nagpure expressed the feeling that I want to come here like this. Vineet Kuber expressed the vote of thanks.
