Kidz Kingdom School Hosts Blood Donation Camp; 42 Donors Participate
Pune, 03 April 2026: A blood donation camp organized by Kidz Kingdom Pre-Primary School on March 31, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 42 donors. The camp was inaugurated by the school’s principal, Vaibhavi Solanki.
Speaking on the occasion, Solanki said, “Blood donation is the greatest symbol of humanity. Since blood cannot be manufactured artificially, donation is the only way to meet the demand. A single donation can save up to three lives, making it a true ‘gift of life’.”
She highlighted that blood is critically needed in cases of accidents, surgeries, and serious illnesses such as thalassemia and cancer. She also emphasized that such social initiatives help instill a sense of social responsibility among students from an early age.
Doctors from Vishwaraj Hospital, along with school teachers and parents, were present at the event. The blood collection was carried out by the blood bank team of Vishwaraj Hospital. All donors were felicitated with certificates and tokens of appreciation for their contribution.
