Pune: DCP Orders Externment of 10 Repeat Offenders in Zone VII Limits, Over 100 Externed in Last Few Months
Pune, 13th April 2026: Ten history-sheeters from Zone VII have been externed from Pune city and district by Deputy Commissioner of Police Somay Munde for their alleged involvement in offences such as illicit liquor trade, gambling, and other serious crimes.
The externed individuals have been identified as Abhijit Sanjay Jadhav (29), Sainath Vitthal Patole (27), Avinash Murlidhar Mete (36), Gagan Tanaji Shinde (24), Sanket Amol Bandal (27), Machhindra Shankar Pawar (38), Sachin Bhimrao Matang (25), Aditya Bapu Shinde (25), Bira Ramdas Shriram (38), and Malti Santosh Malke (45).
Police said the accused have multiple serious cases registered against them at Chandan Nagar, Lonikand and Wagholi police stations. A proposal for their externment was submitted and subsequently approved, following which the
DCP issued orders barring them from entering the city and district.
Police said they have externed around 100 serial offenders in the Zone VII limits over the past few months. Zone VII of Pune police includes Lonikand, Wagholi, Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, Lohgaon, Airport and Yerawada police stations.
Police have appealed to citizens to immediately inform the nearest police station if any of the externed individuals are spotted within city limits.
