Pune–Nagpur Weekend Special Trains Announced; Bookings Open April 29
Pune, 29th April 2026: Central Railway will operate weekend special train services between Pune and Nagpur from May 1 to May 3, 2026, to meet increased passenger demand during the summer season.
Train No. 01467 Pune–Nagpur Weekend Special will depart from Pune at 15:50 hrs on Friday, May 1, and is scheduled to reach Nagpur at 08:05 hrs the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 01468 Nagpur–Pune Weekend Special will depart from Nagpur at 07:00 hrs on Sunday, May 3, and arrive in Pune at 23:30 hrs the same day.
The trains will halt at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopergaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha stations.
Each service will comprise 1 AC 2-Tier coach, 1 AC 3-Tier coach, 12 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches and 2 General Second Class-cum-Guard’s Brake Vans.
According to railway officials, reservations for these weekend special trains will open on April 29, 2026, at all computerised reservation centres and on the IRCTC website. Unreserved tickets will be available through the UTS system. Passengers can also use the RailOne application for booking tickets.
For detailed timings at intermediate halts, passengers can visit the National Train Enquiry System website or access the NTES mobile application.
In addition to the Pune–Nagpur services, Central Railway will also operate four weekend special services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Nagpur during the same period.
