Pune, 4th May 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will begin accepting online applications for the Class 12 supplementary (HSC) examination to be held in June–July 2026 from Tuesday, May 5.

Students can submit their applications through the official website, www.mahahsscboard.in. The board had recently declared the results of the February–March 2026 HSC examination online.

According to officials, the supplementary examination will be open to students who failed in the February–March exam, as well as private candidates who have previously obtained registration certificates or have newly registered for the June–July session. Students appearing under the grade improvement scheme, those opting for selective subjects, and candidates appearing for ITI-related subjects are also eligible to apply online.

Students who did not pass the February–March examination will be able to access and use their previous exam details while filling out the application form. Meanwhile, students who have passed will be eligible to appear under the grade improvement scheme, which offers three consecutive opportunities—June–July 2026, February–March 2027, and June–July 2027.

The board has clarified that no extension will be granted for submitting applications under regular or late fee categories. Dates for submission with super late fees will be announced separately, said board secretary Dr Deepak Mali.

Application schedule:
Regular fee: May 5 to May 15
With late fee: May 16 to May 20

Junior colleges must complete fee payment by May 21. They are required to submit student lists along with receipts or challans to the divisional board offices by May 25.

Students and institutions have been advised to adhere strictly to the deadlines to avoid disqualification from the supplementary examination process.
