Pune: PMC to Hold Special Water Connection Camp in Mohammadwadi on May 9

Mohammadwadi, 8th May 2026: In a significant step to improve the water infrastructure in Mohammadwadi, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is expediting the implementation of a new water distribution system from the Dorabjee Tank. To streamline the process for citizens, the PMC’s Water Supply Department has organized a special assistance camp on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

According to an official circular (Outward No: 555) issued on May 8 by the Executive Engineer of the Lashkar Water Supply Division, the distribution network from the Dorabjee Tank will soon be fully operational. To ensure residents face no hurdles in acquiring authorized household tap connections, a dedicated help desk is being set up locally.

To facilitate this drive, a dedicated team of PMC officials from the Lashkar Water Supply Division will be present on-site. The civic team will be led by Deputy Engineer Neelkanth Shilwant, along with Junior Engineers Pravin Kalmakar and Nikhil Gharat.
