Pune: FYJC Class 11 Admission Process Begins, Merit List on May 14

Pune, 10th May 2026: Following the declaration of the Class 10 SSC examination results by the Maharashtra State Board, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the schedule for the Class 11 admission process across the state. According to the official timetable, the zero round of admissions will be conducted from May 8 to May 20, while the first admission round will take place between May 21 and May 28.

Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Dr. Mahesh Palkar shared details of the admission process through an official press release. The registration process for Class 11 admissions had already begun after the completion of the SSC examinations. So far, a total of 7,74,918 students have filled Part 1 of the online admission application form.

After the announcement of the SSC results, students can now proceed to fill Part 2 of the application form. The education department has clarified that all students who have passed Class 10 will be granted admission only through the online process. Students have therefore been urged to complete the online admission form within the stipulated schedule.

As part of the zero round, students can fill Part 1 of the admission form. Between May 11 and May 13, students can fill both Part 1 and Part 2 of the application form. During this period, students can also submit details related to management quota, minority quota, and in-house quota admissions. Additionally, students can select a minimum of one and a maximum of ten preferred junior colleges while filling the preference list.

The provisional general merit list will be published between May 14 and May 15. Students will be allowed to raise objections or seek corrections in the merit list on May 16. The list of vacant seats for the first admission round will be displayed on May 20, after which the first round of admissions will commence.
