Pune: Daund–Ajmer Special Train Regularised as Weekly Express Service From May 22
Pune, 21st May 2026: Railways has regularised the Daund–Ajmer Special train service, converting it into a regular weekly express service with new train numbers from May 22, 2026.
According to the official announcement, Train No. 20992 Daund–Ajmer Weekly Express will commence regular operations from May 22. The train will depart from Daund at 11:10 pm every Friday and reach Ajmer at 11:40 pm the following day.
In the return direction, Train No. 20991 Ajmer–Daund Weekly Express will leave Ajmer at 4:45 pm every Thursday and arrive at Daund at 7:10 pm the next day.
The train will halt at Pune, Lonavala, Panvel, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Bhawanimandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur and Kishangarh stations en route.
Railways has also announced revised coach compositions for the service. Up to May 28, 2026, the train will run with one AC 2-tier coach, six AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, two general second class coaches and two luggage-cum-guard brake vans.
With effect from June 4, 2026, the composition will be modified to include one AC 2-tier coach, six AC 3-tier coaches, five sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches and two luggage-cum-guard brake vans.
Passengers have been advised to check the updated timetable before planning their journey.
