Pune–Miraj Doubling Project: 21-Day Block at Nira Yard to Affect Train Services, Several Trains Cancelled and Diverted

Pune, 6th June 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division will undertake a 21-day Pre-Non-Interlocking (Pre-NI) and Non-Interlocking (NI) block from June 5 to June 25 for infrastructure upgradation and safety works related to the commissioning of the remodelled Nira Yard under the Pune–Miraj Doubling Project.

The block will result in cancellations, short terminations, short originations, diversions, rescheduling and regulation of several passenger and express train services on the route.

Local Train Services Cancelled

Several DMU and DEMU services will remain cancelled on specified dates during the block period.

Train No. 71415 Pune–Phaltan DMU and Train No. 71416 Phaltan–Pune DMU will remain cancelled on June 17 and June 25.

Train No. 71417 Lonand–Phaltan DEMU and Train No. 71418 Phaltan–Lonand DEMU will remain cancelled on June 17, June 19 and June 25.

Train No. 71419 Pune–Satara DMU will remain cancelled on June 19 and June 25, while Train No. 71420 Satara–Pune DMU will remain cancelled on June 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24 and 25.

Trains to Short Terminate

Train No. 11426 Kolhapur–Pune DMU will terminate at Satara on June 9, 16, 22 and 23. On June 19 and June 25, the train will terminate at Lonand.

Train No. 20475 Bikaner–Miraj Express will short terminate at Khadki on June 15.

Train No. 20669 Hubballi–Pune Vande Bharat Express will short terminate at Satara on June 19.

Trains to Short Originate

Train No. 11425 Pune–Kolhapur DMU will originate from Satara instead of Pune on June 9, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24. On June 19 and June 25, it will originate from Lonand.

Train No. 20476 Miraj–Bikaner Express will originate from Khadki on June 16.

Train No. 20674 Pune–Kolhapur Vande Bharat Express will originate from Satara on June 19.

Nizamuddin–Vasco Express Diverted

Train No. 12780 Nizamuddin–Vasco Express, commencing journey on June 24, will be diverted via the Manmad–Daund–Kurduwadi–Miraj route.

Departure Timings Revised

Train No. 11426 Kolhapur–Pune DMU will depart from Kolhapur at 12.50 pm instead of 10.50 am on June 20.

Train No. 12493 Miraj–Nizamuddin Express will depart 1 hour 15 minutes late from Miraj on June 21.

Train No. 11039 Kolhapur–Gondia Express will depart from Kolhapur at 4.50 pm instead of 2.50 pm on June 25.

En-Route Regulation of Trains

Several long-distance trains will face en-route regulation ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes on different dates during the block period.

Among the affected services are Train No. 11426 Kolhapur–Pune DMU, Train No. 20686 KSR Bengaluru–Gandhidham Express, Train No. 16553 SMVT Bengaluru–LTT Mumbai Express, Train No. 11049 Ahmedabad–Kolhapur Express, Train No. 16210 Mysuru–Ajmer Express, Train No. 20694 KSR Bengaluru–Jodhpur Express, Train No. 16534 KSR Bengaluru–Jodhpur Express, Train No. 11030 Kolhapur–CSMT Mumbai Express and Train No. 20673 Kolhapur–Pune Vande Bharat Express.

Passengers have been advised to check updated train schedules and running status before commencing their journey through the Indian Railways enquiry portal and the NTES mobile application.
