Nagpur–Pune Express to Get LHB Coaches from July 1; Coach Composition Revised

Pune, 26th June 2026: Passengers travelling on the Nagpur–Pune Express will soon travel in modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, with Central Railway permanently replacing the existing conventional ICF coaches on the route from July 1.

According to Central Railway, Train No. 12136 Nagpur–Pune Express will operate with the upgraded LHB rake from July 1, 2026, departing from Nagpur, while Train No. 12135 Pune–Nagpur Express will run with LHB coaches from July 2, 2026, departing from Pune.

With the conversion, the train’s coach composition has also been revised. The existing 22 ICF coaches will be replaced by a 20-coach LHB rake comprising two AC 2-Tier coaches, six AC 3-Tier coaches, six Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one Generator Car, and one Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van.

Central Railway stated that the train’s timings, halts, and route will remain unchanged following the conversion.

Passengers travelling on the service from the effective dates are advised to note the revised coach composition.
