K2S Katraj to Sinhgad Monsoon Adventure Race Returns on August 8 With 21-km and 7-km Trail Categories
Pune, 30th June 2026: One of Pune’s most popular monsoon trail running events, the K2S Katraj to Sinhgad Monsoon Adventure Race, is set to return for its third edition on Saturday, August 8, 2026, inviting runners, trekkers and outdoor enthusiasts to take on the scenic trails of the Sahyadri mountain ranges.
The event features the iconic 21-km Katraj-to-Sinhgad trail, stretching across 13 hills from Katraj Old Tunnel Top to the base of Sinhgad Fort. Organisers have also introduced a 7-km Adventure Run for beginners, making the event accessible to first-time trail runners, trekkers and fitness enthusiasts looking to experience monsoon trail running at their own pace.
The competitive 21-km Trailblazer category will begin at 7:00 AM, with participants required to report by 6:00 AM. The route has a seven-hour cut-off time and offers cash prizes across men’s and women’s categories in three age groups: 18-35 years, 36-50 years and 51 years & above.
Meanwhile, the 7-km Adventure Run will flag off at 8:00 AM, allowing participants to either run, hike or walk through the monsoon landscape without the pressure of competition.
Registration for the event includes an RFID timing bib for competitive runners, a dry-fit race T-shirt, finisher medal, post-race refreshments, medical assistance, mountain rescue support and volunteer assistance along the route. Transportation arrangements for registered participants will also be announced closer to the event.
