Kolhapur–Pune and Hadapsar–Hingoli Daily Special Trains Extended Till September 30

Pune, 3rd July 2026: Central Railway has extended the operation of several Train on Demand (TOD) special trains till September 30, ensuring the continued availability of additional rail services for passengers travelling to and from Pune, Hadapsar and other parts of Maharashtra.

The extension has been approved by the Railway Board and will allow the special trains to continue operating on their existing routes, schedules, stoppages, fare structure and maintenance arrangements.

Among the trains benefiting passengers in the Pune region, the Kolhapur–Pune–Kolhapur Daily Special (Train Nos. 01024/01023) will continue to run daily from July 16 to September 30, completing 77 additional trips in each direction.

Similarly, the Hadapsar–Hingoli–Hadapsar Daily Special (Train Nos. 01487/01488) has also been extended for the same period. The daily service will operate from July 16 to September 30, adding 77 trips in each direction and providing continued connectivity between Hadapsar and the Marathwada region.

The extension also covers several other special train services across the Central Railway network, including routes connecting Solapur with Mumbai, Akola, Daund and Kalaburagi, along with other services in the Bhusaval Division.

In all, 18 special train services have been extended, resulting in 1,012 additional trips up to the end of September. The trains will continue to operate with their existing timings, routes, stoppages, coach composition and fare structure.
