Pune, 12th July 2026: The Late Shrimati Laxmibai Dagdusheth Halwai Datt Mandir Trust organised a special healthcare initiative for Warkari devotees who arrived in Pune with the palkhis of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj.

As part of the initiative, Warkaris were provided with free medical check-ups, physiotherapy services and essential medicines. The Trust also distributed 15,000 packets of gud-dani as prasad among the devotees.

Considering the physical strain experienced by Warkaris during their long journey on foot towards Pandharpur, a team of specialist doctors conducted health examinations and offered necessary medical guidance.

Physiotherapy services were made available to devotees suffering from joint pain, muscular discomfort and fatigue. Essential medicines were also distributed free of cost to those in need.

The Trust made special arrangements to ensure that Warkaris received timely healthcare assistance. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from the devotees.
