Pune: Pisoli Residents Raise Water Crisis, Drainage Issues; NCP Corporator Nivrutti Bandal Assures Action
Pisoli, 13th July 2026: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Pisoli Corporator Nivrutti Anna Bandal visited Kingston Elysia Society on Sunday to interact with residents and discuss civic issues affecting the housing society. Residents raised concerns over drinking water supply, drainage, and sanitation, seeking immediate intervention from the local representative.
Responding to the grievances, Bandal assured residents that water tankers would be arranged as an immediate measure to ease the drinking water shortage. He also said efforts would be made to implement long-term solutions to address the recurring water supply issues in the area.
During the interaction, Bandal also briefed residents about the S.I.R. initiative and stressed the importance of environmental conservation and rainwater harvesting for sustainable water management.
Bandal was welcomed by Kingston Elysia Society Chairman Ameya Jha and felicitated by Federation Vice Chairman Nitin Mane, popularly known as ‘Kaka’. Society Secretary Rahul Dalvi presented the residents’ concerns and outlined the key civic issues requiring attention.
The meeting was attended by several residents, including Prof. Shahid Ansari, Prof. Irfan Chogule, Nitin Pawar, Akil, Sneha Meshram, Rima Singh, Ingle, Pange, Mohsin, and others.
Addressing the gathering, Bandal reiterated his commitment to public service, saying, “To serve people is my duty.” He assured residents that he would work towards resolving their civic issues while promoting sustainable community development.
