Pune: Traffic Diversions Announced for Aarogyawari Ultra Group Run 2026 Marathon On July 26

Pune, 25th July 2026: The Pune district administration has announced temporary traffic diversions on several routes on Sunday, July 26, in view of the Aarogyawari Ultra Group Run-2026′ marathon. The restrictions have been imposed to ensure the smooth movement of traffic, prioritise the safety of participants and prevent congestion during the event.

District Collector Jitendra Dudi has issued orders for the traffic arrangements.

According to the notification, traffic from Pune towards Satara, Phaltan and Baramati via Jejuri will remain completely closed from 4 am to 12 noon on July 26. Vehicles travelling on this route will be diverted via Saswad–Narayanpur–Kapurhol, Saswad–Veer Phata–Parinche–Lonand, and Saswad–Panwadi–Memane–Pisarve–Supa.

Traffic management plans have also been implemented at Belsar Phata, Pargaon Memane Chowk and Kothale Chowk under the jurisdiction of Jejuri police station. Alternative routes have been designated for vehicles travelling towards Pune, Baramati, Kedgaon Chaufula, Satara and Lonand.

Similarly, under the Supa police station limits, traffic on the Pune–Baramati, Baramati–Pune, Kedgaon Chaufula–Satara, and Nira–Supa routes will also be diverted through alternative roads.

In Baramati city police station limits, traffic on the marathon route will remain closed from 7 am until 6 pm, or until the conclusion of the event. The marathon route will pass through Virat Hotel, Khandobanagar, Karbhari Circle, Gunwadi Chowk, Indapur Chowk, Bhigwan Chowk and Teen Hatti Chowk.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held at 5.30 pm at Natraj Natyamandir in Baramati.

During the restrictions, vehicles arriving from Bhigwan, Patas, Pune, Morgaon and Phaltan will be diverted through the Ring Road, Court Corner, Deshmukh Chowk, Railway Bridge, MIDC Road, Medical College Road, Canal Road and other designated alternative routes.

Authorities have also announced that the stretch between Teen Hatti Chowk and Samyak Chowk will remain closed to traffic from both directions, while a service road will be kept open for local residents.

The district administration has appealed to motorists to follow the directions issued by traffic police, use the designated diversion routes and cooperate with authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the marathon.
