Dr Mansingh Sable Honoured by CM Devendra Fadnavis for ‘Charan Seva’ Initiative During Ashadhi Wari
Pune, 26th July 2026: Dr Mansingh Sable, Chairman and Medical Officer of the Pune District Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Charitable Hospital Assistance Cell, was honoured by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for his contribution to the ‘Charan Seva’ initiative during the Ashadhi Wari.
The felicitation ceremony was held in Pandharpur on July 24 at the conclusion of the initiative, which was undertaken to provide healthcare and other essential services to Warkaris travelling during the annual pilgrimage.
The ‘Charan Seva’ initiative was launched under the concept of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and implemented under the guidance of Rameshwar Naik, Head of the State Cell. The initiative was conducted alongside the ‘Nirmal Wari’ campaign of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department.
Dr Sable was specifically recognised for the planning and implementation of the Charan Seva initiative at various Palkhi halt locations in Pune city and Pune district, as well as for services provided to Warkaris during the pilgrimage.
The broader ‘Nirmal Wari, Charan Seva’ campaign aimed to make the Ashadhi Wari cleaner, safer and healthier. Voluntary organisations, administrative officials and personnel from various government departments participated in the initiative.
At the Pandharpur programme, Chief Minister Fadnavis felicitated voluntary organisations, administrative officials and other individuals who contributed to the implementation of the ‘Nirmal Wari’ and ‘Charan Seva’ initiatives.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Dr Sable said, “It is a privilege to have had the opportunity to contribute to the Charan Seva initiative for Warkaris in Pune city and district. Being honoured by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has further motivated me to continue serving society with greater commitment.”
