Pune to Ratnagiri Ganpati Special Trains Announced, Bookings From August 1
Pune, 26th July 2026: Central Railway will operate 10 Ganpati Special trains from Pune to Ratnagiri and back during the upcoming Ganpati Festival to cater to the additional passenger demand. The Pune specials are part of the 246 Ganpati Special train services announced by Central Railway for the festive season.
The Pune schedule includes four AC Weekly Special services and six Weekly Special services connecting Pune with Ratnagiri.
The Pune–Ratnagiri AC Weekly Special (Train Nos. 01445/01446) will operate every Tuesday on September 15 and September 22, 2026. Train No. 01445 will depart Pune at 12.25 am and reach Ratnagiri at 11.50 am the same day. The return service, Train No. 01446, will leave Ratnagiri at 5.50 pm on the same day and arrive in Pune at 5.20 am the following morning.
The AC special will halt at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road. The train will consist of three AC 2-Tier coaches, 15 AC 3-Tier coaches, one Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van and one Generator Car.
The Pune–Ratnagiri Weekly Special (Train Nos. 01447/01448) will run every Saturday on September 12, 19 and 26, 2026. Train No. 01447 will depart Pune at 12.25 am and reach Ratnagiri at 11.50 am the same day, while Train No. 01448 will leave Ratnagiri at 5.50 pm and arrive in Pune at 5.20 am the next day.
This weekly special will halt at the same stations as the AC special and will comprise two AC 2-Tier coaches, four AC 3-Tier coaches, eight Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van and one Generator Car.
Reservations for the Pune special trains, including Train Nos. 01445, 01446, 01447 and 01448, will open on August 1, 2026, through all PRS booking counters and the IRCTC booking platform. Unreserved tickets for applicable coaches can be booked through the UTS system. Passengers can also use the RailOne app for ticket booking.
