Pune: SRK Warriors Pune Marks 80th Independence Day with Educational Kit Distribution

Warje, 15th August 2026: On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, SRK Warriors Pune organised a social welfare initiative at Yashodip High School in Warje Malwadi, distributing educational kits among needy high school students.
As part of the drive, students received educational kits containing notebooks and stationery items. The notebooks featured customised labels inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film KING.
Speaking about the initiative, Bhushan Patil of SRK Warriors Pune said, “Independence Day is a reminder that we have a responsibility towards the future of our country. Through this initiative, we wanted to support students in their education and encourage them to dream bigger. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.”
The organiser of SRK Warriors Pune said, “Our love for Shah Rukh Khan has always brought us together, but we also want to use this community for a larger social purpose. This educational drive is our way of spreading happiness and supporting children who need it. We will continue to organise more community welfare initiatives in the future.”
The initiative is aimed at supporting students’ education while marking Independence Day through a community-focused activity. The organisers said that they plan to undertake more such welfare drives in the coming days.
