Pune Metro: Two Gates at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Udyan Station at JM Road to Remain Shut Till Sept 13

Pune, 21st August 2026: Two entry and exit gates at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Udyan Metro station on Junglee Maharaj Road will remain closed from August 21 to September 13 due to the demolition of a multi-level parking facility adjacent to the station, authorities said.

Gate No. 1 and Gate No. 3 of the metro station will remain shut during the period as a safety precaution while the Pune Municipal Corporation carries out the demolition work.

Passengers have been advised to use the pedestrian bridge near Balgandharva Rangmandir and the Tanpura pedestrian bridge near Vartak Baug in Shaniwar Peth to access and exit the metro station.

The Metro authorities have urged commuters to use the alternate pedestrian routes during the demolition period for their safety.
