New Delhi, 9th September 2026: Avengers: Doomsday has already created a new box office milestone even before its theatrical release. The upcoming Marvel film has crossed $40 million in domestic ticket pre-sales, achieving the figure nearly 100 days before it is scheduled to hit theatres.

The film, which is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026, has recorded the $40 million mark while still being around 100 days away from its theatrical debut. This makes Avengers: Doomsday the first film to reach such a pre-sale milestone this far ahead of its release, highlighting the strong anticipation surrounding the Marvel project.

The early ticket sales come amid growing interest in the next Avengers instalment, which will bring together several major Marvel characters and teams. The film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously helmed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Robert Downey Jr. is also returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this time as the villain Victor von Doom, rather than Iron Man.

Marvel’s upcoming film is expected to be one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year. The studio has also begun its promotional build-up, with the film entering its final 100-day countdown to the December release.

With Avengers: Doomsday already recording $40 million in advance sales months before its release, the film’s opening weekend will be closely watched when it finally reaches theatres on December 18.
