Pune Ganpati Visarjan 2026: Traffic Police List 26 Parking Sites for September 25 Procession

Pune, 23rd September 2026: The Pune City Traffic Branch has identified 26 parking locations for people visiting Ganesh displays and watching the main immersion procession on September 25, 2026. The procession is expected to begin at around 9 am.
Two-wheelers and four-wheelers may be parked at the Shivaji Akhada parking area; Hamalwada near Patrya Maruti Chowk; the ground at RTO Chowk; S. P. College; Nilayam Talkies; the BMCC College ground; Abasaheb Garware College; the Sanjeevani Medical College ground; Fergusson College; the Jain Hostel ground on BMCC Road; Ranade Path; New English School on Tilak Road; and the riverbed between Bhide Bridge and Gadgil Bridge.
Two-wheeler parking is listed at New English School in Ramanbaug; Gogate Prashala; Peshwe Park in Sarasbaug; opposite Harjeevan Hospital at Savarkar Chowk; Patil Plaza; the stretches from Parvati to Dandekar Bridge, Dandekar Bridge to Ganeshmala, and Ganeshmala to Rajaram Bridge; Marathwada College; Peshwe Path; and Congress House Road.
The PMPML ground near Puram Chowk is listed for four-wheelers. Desai College is designated for police parking, not public parking.
“Citizens are requested not to park their vehicles haphazardly elsewhere. They should use the designated parking locations and cooperate with the police,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dr Sandeep Bhajibhakare said.
