Pune : Raigad Fort Ropeway Service To Resume From November 3 After Maintenance Work

Raigad, 2nd November 2026: The ropeway service at Raigad Fort will resume operations from November 3 after remaining temporarily closed since September 21 for essential maintenance and repair work.

According to the ropeway management, all necessary maintenance and technical work has been completed ahead of schedule, following dedicated efforts by the management and technical staff.

The Raigad Fort ropeway is an important facility for visitors, particularly devotees of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, senior citizens, women and children, as it provides convenient access to the historic fort.

The temporary closure over the past few weeks had caused inconvenience to several tourists and visitors. With operations set to resume on November 3, visitors are expected to get significant relief, making their journey to the historic fort more convenient.
