Renu Sharma, takes over as Divisional Railway Manager, Pune Division of Central Railway
25 November 2019, Pune- Renu Sharma has joined as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) in Pune Division. She belongs to the 1990 batch of Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS). She has done Masters in Organic Chemistry.
She has worked in various capacities in North Eastern Railway, Northern Railway, Eastern Railway, MCF Raibareli, and RDSO. Prominent of her past assignments are Sr. DPO Lucknow, CPO/IR Eastern Railway, PCPO / MCF, Raibareli and PCPO / RDSO, Lucknow. Prior to joining as DRM / Pune, she was working as Principal Chief Personnel Officer at RDSO, Lucknow. She has been involved with massive computerisation projects pertaining to HR and also launched a pensioner’s app in RDSO. She was instrumental in setting up of manpower establishment in the newly come up Modern Coach factory in Raibareli. She has attended Training on Personnel Management and Industrial Relations in TISS Mumbai, Strategic Management Programme in ISB Hyderabad and Advanced Management Programme in Singapore & Malaysia.
She has set her priorities in Pune Division for safe train operations, passenger amenities, improving mobility, punctuality, asset reliability and earnings. She expressed that she will make all out efforts in ensuring better customer experience for passengers.
