Pune: Shivshahi bus accident in Shindewadi, Two killed, 24 injured

Pune, November 25, 2019: In a major accident, a Shivshahi bus plunged into a gorge in Shindewadi near Katraj, resulting in the death of two passengers and injuries to 24 others.
The bus was on its way from Swargate to Sangli and there were 40 passengers on the bus. The accident took place around 1.30 pm after the bus had crossed Katraj ghat.
After getting information officials from Pune Fire Brigade and Pune rural police’s Rajgad police station reached the spot. The bus had turned several times and had fallen 50 feet down the road after the driver lost control over the wheels. Heavy cranes were brought to turn the bus. The residents had earlier helped many passengers come out of the bus.
The injured persons have been admitted in a hospital.
