Pune City : 309 New Covid Cases , 444 Discharged Today

Pune, December 6, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 444 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 309 new patients were detected while 7 people died today. Today swab samples of 3496 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 172,078 out of which 162,423 have been cured while 4493 have died. There are still 5162 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 422 critical patients out of which 252 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9,644,222 across the country. Out of this, 91,00,792 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 140,182 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 403,248 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
