Pune City: 243 New Covid Cases, 346 Discharged Today
Pune, December 15, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 346 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 243 new patients were detected while 6 people died today. Today swab samples of 2278 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus-positive patients till date has reached 174,452 out of which 164,953 have been cured while 4549 have died. There are still 4950 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 373 critical patients out of which 224 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9906165 across the country. Out of this, 9422636 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 143709 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 339820 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
