Clear Atrocity Pendency Cases Of Scheduled Caste And Tribes: Pune District Collector

Pune, January 12, 2021: District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh has directed to clear all the atrocity pending cases against the Scheduled castes and tribes before February 15, 2021.
He was speaking at the District vigilance and control committee. The meeting held at the district collector’s office was also attended by Sangita Davkhar, additional police superintendent Vivek Patil, District public prosecutor adv. N D Patil, Pimpri Chinchwad assistant police commissioner R R Patil, assistant district collector Sanjay Teli.
Deshmukh said, “Cases cannot be filled if the person who is making the allegations failed to provide his/her caste certificate. The social welfare department should make the list of these castes and tribes and make it immediately available to all the sub-divisional officers. All the pendency in this regard should be cleared on and before February 15.”
