Nilakhe, Kaur Lift Titles At The Second Leg Of PMDTA-KPIT Junior Little Champions Bronze Series Tennis Tournament
Pune, February 14, 2021: Abhiram Nilakhe and Aahana Kaur claimed titles in the boys and girls under 14 events respectively at the Second leg of PMDTA – KPIT Little Junior Champions Bronze series Tennis Tournament organized by Navnath Shete Sports Academy in association with Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association (PMDTA) supported by KPIT and played at Metrocity Sports Club.
In the girls under 14 group finals, 8th Standard student of Delhi Public School top-seeded Aahana Kaur edged out Shravani Deshmukh 5-4(4), 4-2 and claim her first title of the season in this category. She practices at Metrocity Sports Club under coach Navnath Shete.
In the boys’ section second-seeded Abhiram Nilakhe upset top-seeded Advik Natekar 4-2, 5-3 to claim the first title of the season. 7th Standard student of Balkrishna Mandir Abhiram practices at Parth Chivate Tennis Academy under coach Parth Chivate.
The winner’s and runner up got trophy and certificates. The prizes were given away at the hands of Saurabh Joshi and Babasaheb Kawle, Sheetal Oswal, Director of Metrocity Sports and Health Club. Tournament director Navnath Shete and Tournament supervisor Anup Shinde were present on the occasion.
