Pune, February 18, 2021: E-vehicle owners in Pune and Pimpri -Chinchwad areas will soon get additional charging stations. Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will soon develop 122 charging stations in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas.

These stations will be available for two-wheelers, four-wheelers and rickshaws to charge the vehicles.

As of now, there are 150 e-buses in PMPML’s fleet and the number will grow up to 500 by December this year. In the day time, buses will be running on the roads so private vehicles can be charged at these charging stations. The timing will be 8 am to 8 pm for these vehicles,” he added.

After detailed discussion, they will be given time to submit a tender by 26th February.
