Pune: Minor Girl Murdered By Live-In Partner Suspecting Character

Pune, 24 April 2021: A minor girl who was in a living relationship in Pune was murdered on suspicion of her character by her boyfriend. After this, the accused himself appeared at the police station.

He was arrested by Lonikand police and produced in court. The court has remanded him in police custody till April 28.

The accused is identified as Sagar Wankhede (28), a resident of Perne Phata. He murdered Bharti lyer (17). Bharti is originally from Buldhana. They had an argument on Thursday afternoon.

Police said that he strangled and killed her. After this, he himself came to the police station and informed about the murder.
