A Strong Dose Of Thriller Films Will Be Available On OTT Platforms This Weekend
Mumbai, 9th July 2021: Many important films and web series will be streaming on OTT platforms in July. It started with Haseen Dilruba on Netflix and this week i.e. on July 9, many interesting web series will reach the audience, with two important films on OTT platforms.
Caller Bomb will release on July 9th on Disney Plus Hoster VIP. The film stars Jimmy Shergill and Asha Negi in lead roles. The film revolves around the story of stopping a suicide bomber. Jimmy plays the role of a police officer named Manoj Hessey. The film is directed by Nyanesh Zotting. Rajshree Deshpande will also be seen playing an important role in the film. The script of the film has been written by Nikhil Nair.
The series ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’ will premiere on Zee5 on July 9th, which is inspired by true events. Akshaye Khanna, Gautam Rode, and Vivek Dahiya are in the lead roles in this story of a terrorist attack on the Akshardham temple in Ahmedabad. This will be Akshay’s OTT debut.
The horror-thriller film Fear Street Part 2- 1978 will be releasing on Netflix on July 9th. This is the third film in this trilogy. The first film Fear Street Part 1- 1994 hit the platform last week. The trilogy was produced together. The third film will be coming next week on July 16th. The film is directed by Lee Janiac.
The Tom and Jerry movie will be streamed on Amazon Prime on July 10th. It is a live animation film, in which the popular cartoon characters Tom and Jerry will be seen sparring between the live characters. The film was released in theaters in February and is directed by Tim Story.
The Water Man will be streaming on Netflix from July 10th. The film was screened at film festivals last year and was released in the US in May this year. The film is directed by David Oyelowo. The story is about a child, who is looking for a magician, Water Man, to cure his ailing mother.
