Lucknow, 28th February 2020: India’s leading regional Hindi news channel for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, ABP Ganga, has launched an initiative to celebrate & salute the essence & spirit of womanhood in all its forms and expressions through a talk-show, ‘Naari’.
The Naari initiative is travelling across 9 cities of Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand which include Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Dehradun, and Haldwani, to connect with women who have created a positive impact in society through their relentless efforts.
Through this initiative, ABP Ganga aims to create a unique platform for the women achievers of UP & Uttarakhand, from different walks of life, to talk about their journeys and experiences. Apart from being a source of inspiration, Naari is also an initiative which discovers & recognizes upcoming women achievers from the state and gives them a platform to share their stories with people.
Shedding light on the lives of strong personalities who are making strides in their respective fields, Naari will witness the eminent presence of a multitude of courageous and empowered women who are marching to new heights with confidence.
The initiative will culminate in a grand award ceremony around International Women’s Day, where these women will be honoured for playing an active role towards the betterment of the society, also acting as a source of inspiration to other people.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Avinash Pandey, CEO – ABP News Network said, “At ABP, people-driven endeavors like ‘Naari’ have always been an intrinsic part of our DNA. Naari is not just a mere initiative but a celebration & tribute to those inspiring & impassioned women who have left an indelible mark in their respective fields and the society at large. Apart from shining a light on the lives of these women icons, we aspire to encourage and empower other people to make a positive impact on their community in some way or the other.”
