ACC Appointments

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following:

i) Shri J S Deepak, IAS (UP:1982), Secretary, Department of Electronics and information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology vice Shri Rakesh Garg, IAS (UP:1980) on his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs.

ii) Dr Aruna Sharma, IAS (MP:1982), presently posted in her Cadre as Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology vice Shri J S Deepak, IAS (UP:1982) on his appointment as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

iii) Shri Shobhana K Pattanayak, IAS (KN:1982), presently posted in his Cadre as Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare vice Shir Siraj Hussain, IAS (UP:1979) on his superannuation.

iv) Shri Avinash K Srivastava, IAS (UP:1982), Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare as Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries vice Shri Ranglal Jamuda, IAS (OR:1981) on his superannuation.

v) Dr Krishan Kumar Jalan, IAS (HY:1982), Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises vice Shri Anup K Pujari, IAS (KN:1980) on his superannuation.

vi) Dr Vinod Agrawal, IAS (JH:1980), Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment vice Shri Lov Verma, IAS (UP:1978) on his superannuation.

vii) Dr Shyam S Agarwal, IAS (RJ:1980), Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes as Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs vice Shri Arun Jha, IAS (BH:1981) on his appointment as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes.

viii) Shri Arun Jha, IAS (BH:1981), Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes vice Dr Vinod Agrawal, IAS (JH:1980) on his appointment as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

ix) Shri Rakesh Garg, IAS (UP:1980), Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs vice Shri Amarendra Sinha, IAS (UK:1981) who is holding additional charge of the post.

x) Dr Shyam S Agarwal, IAS (RJ:1980) who has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs will hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes for a period of three months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to that post or till further orders, whichever is the earliest.
