Actor Shantanu Bhamare Receives ‘Best Actor’ Award at 7th Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2026
Mumbai, 7th May 2026: Actor Shantanu Bhamare received the ‘Best Actor’ award at the 7th Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2026, held at the Classic Raheja Club in Andheri West, Mumbai, on May 4. The award was presented by Padma Shri awardee and renowned bhajan singer Anup Jalota during the grand ceremony organised on the occasion of Dr. Krishna Chauhan’s birthday.
The event, presented by KCF and organised by Dr. Krishna Chauhan, honoured personalities from the film industry for their contributions and achievements. Several celebrities attended the ceremony, including music director Dilip Sen, comedian Sunil Pal, singer Tarannum Malik Jain, and others.
Shantanu Bhamare attended the event along with Tara Khodke, a model, actress, and event management professional who is exploring opportunities in the Bollywood film industry.
Bhamare has worked in several films and music videos. His notable projects include the Bollywood film Fire Of Love: RED, starring Krushna Abhishek, Payal Ghosh, Kamlesh Sawant, and Shantanu Bhamare, where his role as a jailer received attention.
He has also featured in multiple romantic music videos, including Teri Aashiqui Mein alongside Elena Tuteja, Baby De Ek Chance with Abhilasha Suryawanshi, Mann Kyun Behka Ja Raha Hai featuring Anna Gavrichkova, Tu Hi Meri Jaan with Prachi Thorat, Tere Bina Jeena Nahin alongside Ruchita Aglawe, and Dooriyan Aur Nazdikiyan with Aarti Salunke.
Bhamare is also set to appear in the upcoming Bollywood feature film SHAQUE – THE DOUBT, directed, written, and produced by filmmaker Rajeev Chaudhari, known for Beiimaan Love starring Sunny Leone. The film’s music has been composed by Hriju Roy, who has reportedly recorded three songs for the project.
The shooting of the film is expected to take place in London, where Bhamare will portray the role of an underworld don.
His upcoming projects also include Cross Roads, Bhayya Ji, New York to Haridwar, Breaking News, Sorry Mother, and Bhagwa, in which he will be seen in significant character roles.
